The Catholic Community of Middletown, New York, invites you to the celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Empress of the America. The pre-celebration begins December 12
th 4:00am with the Rosary followed by a
Solemn Mass celebrated by the
Most Reverend Peter Byrne, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of New York and Episcopal Vicar for Hispanic Affairs of the Archdiocese of New York.
Reverend Dennis A. Nikolić, Pastor of the Church of St. Joseph will be a designated concelebrant along with
Reverend Sandro A. Leyton, Parochial Vicar of the Church of St. Joseph.
The Mass will be offered in Spanish, with Mañanitas (serenade to the Blessed Mother, rosary and traditional songs).
ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 13
TH.
The religious celebration begins with a procession at 12:00pm through the streets of Middletown followed by a
Solemn Mass at
1:00pm celebrated by the
Most Reverend Dominick Lagonegro, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of New York and Episcopal Vicar of the Northern Deaneries of the Archdiocese of New York.
Reverend Dennis A. Nikolić, Pastor of the Church of St. Joseph will be a designated concelebrant along with
Reverend Sandro A. Leyton, Parochial Vicar of the Church of St. Joseph, who will be the homilist.
The Mass will be offered in Spanish and English as a bilingual celebration.
A celebration of Latino Culture will follow in the Parish Center Gymnasium with folkloric dance and traditional food.
